Welcome to TAPPD Support. Here you can find answers to common questions about your account and your experience on the app. If you can't find what you're looking for, our team is one email away.
To create an account, sign up with your email address and a password. You must be 18 or older to join TAPPD.
Forgot your password? Tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen and we'll email you a reset link. If the link doesn't arrive, check your spam folder. You can also sign in with Google.
Want to change your email or password? Open Settings and update your details there.
You can add up to 12 profile photos, fill in your details, interests, and optional information like sexual health status. Edit everything from your Profile page at any time.
Photos that are flagged for review are checked by our team before they appear publicly. You'll be notified if action is taken.
Private albums let you share extra photos with members you approve. Free members can have 1 album with up to 5 photos; TAPPD PRO members can have 3 albums with up to 5 photos each.
A Tap is a quick hello. Send one from any profile and the other member will see it in their Taps list. Taps are unlimited for everyone.
Once you've matched or tapped each other, you can message back and forth. Notifications for new messages show the sender's name and photo, and unread counts appear on the Messages tab.
PRO members also get read receipts and typing indicators in their conversations.
TAPPD PRO unlocks extra features like profile viewers, advanced filters, read receipts, travel and date search, incognito mode, and more private albums.
PRO is an optional subscription that renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account's subscription settings and keep PRO until the end of the period you already paid for.
Having trouble with a purchase or payment? Contact us at gettappdapp@gmail.com and include the email address on your TAPPD account.
TAPPD uses your location to show members nearby and venues in your area. If location didn't turn on when you first signed in, open Settings, then Privacy, and tap Turn on location. If your phone blocked it, enable location for TAPPD in your phone's settings and try again.
Your exact location is never shared with other members — they only see an approximate distance, which you can turn off entirely under Settings, Privacy.
Every profile has Block and Report. Reports are confidential — the other member is never told who reported them. Serious reports lead to account removal, and we contact law enforcement when someone may be in danger.
Once you block someone, they can't see your profile or contact you.
Meet in public first if you can, tell a friend where you're going, and trust your gut. Nobody on TAPPD is entitled to your time or your body.
TAPPD is for adults 18 and older only. Any content involving a minor is reported to the authorities and the account is permanently removed. See our Child Safety Standards for full details.
You can permanently delete your account from inside the app. Open Settings, then tap Delete Account and follow the prompts. Deletion starts immediately and cannot be undone.
Full details on what is removed and what we may keep are on the Delete Your Account page.
Still need help? Email us at gettappdapp@gmail.com and include as much detail as you can — the email address on your TAPPD account, what you were trying to do, and what happened. We aim to respond within a few days.
